Student musicians experience the thrill of performing alongside professional orchestral musicians at a regular subscription concert.
Part of the McKeesport Symphony's mission is to promote awareness of the arts among students and to assist in music education. In order to fulfill that, the organization engages in regular and meaningful Education and Outreach activities. These include sponsorship of the McKeesport Symphony Youth Orchestra, an annual Young Artists Competition and an annual Side-by-Side concert program. Members of the orchestra also conduct Small Ensemble Programs for school assemblies. For information about these school programs, please contact the office.
